I am delighted to welcome you to our school website and hope you experience a flavour of the wonderful school community that is the Christian Brothers' Grammar School, Omagh. We are a boys Grammar School proudly embedded in the heartbeat of West Tyrone since 1861, with a very proud tradition of academic excellence and service to our local community over the past 165 years.

Today, over 900 boys attend our school. Joining us at age eleven and, over the course of their school journey, grow into caring, confident young men with a strong sense of justice and a commitment to contributing positively to society.

Alongside a broad and challenging curriculum, we offer an extensive range of extra-curricular opportunities where our boys can nurture their individual gifts and interests in Sport, the Expressive and Creative Arts and STEM. Reflective of the community we serve in West Tyrone, we have a proud tradition in Gaelic games with recent successes in both the MacRory and Hogan Cups.

As a Christian Brothers Grammar School and a member of the Edmund Rice Schools Trust, we are guided by the vision of Blessed Edmund Rice. Our Catholic Faith is the bedrock upon which our school community is built. Faith guides our educational provision and the gospel values that we nurture collectively. We are committed to the holistic development of every student, empowering them through high-quality teaching and learning to meet the challenges of the 21st century with confidence, compassion, and integrity.
