Post-16 Curriculum
It is expected that students considering Post-16 studies take a minimum of three subjects from a menu offering A-Levels, Applied A-Levels and BEC courses.
The selection process is designed to assist your choices and stimulate your aspirations for your Post-16, and involves:
- a Post-16 choices evening with a Post-16 prospectus, careers talk and a chance to meet departments
- ongoing career advice and
- a final senior teacher choices interview
In all subjects it is highly recommended that students achieve at least a Grade B is the subject has been studies at GCSE level. Indicated below are the individual subject requirements for study at Post-16 Level. Omagh CBS has a long established tradition of achievement, success, quality teaching and learning at Post-16 Level.

Post 16 Enrichment Programme
All students at Post-16 will also continue to have one period of Careers and Religious Education per week and will participate in our varied and interesting Enrichment and Outreach programmes.
