Beyond the Classroom

Sports Studies offer our students a vocational qualification. It combines both practical and theoretical studies in anatomy, physiology, and coaching. It is widely used to progress into university degrees or careers in the fitness industry, sports coaching and exercise science. Our students help organise the highly popular annual school 5km/10km run. Our students also help coach Gaelic and soccer to our Key Stage 3 students during PE lessons. They will officiate games and organise superleague competitions during extra curricular opportunities.

Sport is a highly popular subject in the school and is highly valued.
